A sequential three-step approach
Here’s what to expect from the three sessions;
1. Cognitive Restructuring (24 MINS)
Cognitive restructuring is a core technique from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). It involves identifying and challenging negative or unhelpful thoughts that keep you anchored to the past. By recognizing these cognitive distortions - such as overgeneralization, catastrophizing, or personalizing - you can reframe your thinking to be more balanced and realistic. This process helps in reducing emotional distress and shifting focus from past regrets or mistakes to present opportunities and future possibilities.
2. Mindfulness and Acceptance - EMBRACING THE HERE & NOW (27 MINS)
Mindfulness involves staying present and fully engaging with the here and now. Instead of ruminating on past events, mindfulness encourages you to observe your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Acceptance, a key component of mindfulness, involves acknowledging past experiences without trying to change or avoid them. This reduces the power of past memories to trigger negative emotions, allowing you to live more fully in the present.
3. SOFT-CENTRED - THE POWER OF Self-Compassion (32 MINS)
Self-compassion involves treating yourself with kindness and understanding, especially during moments of pain or failure. It helps break the cycle of self-criticism and rumination over past mistakes. By cultivating self-compassion, you can develop a healthier relationship with yourself, making it easier to let go of the past and move forward. It’s important to balance compassion for yourself with compassion for others, because it’s all too easy to give to much of yourself.
Taken in sequence, these powerful sessions will enable you to disconnect and de-couple from those ghosts of the past that have anchored you until today. Now you can move on, without judgment or regret.
HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED FASTER with hypnosis
As with all my hypnosis programs, this one will work better and faster if you’re confident going in and out of hypnosis. If you’ve tried hypnosis or hypnotherapy in the past, and feel that it worked for you, you should be fine. If this is your first time, I recommend you complete my two short training recordings (included free in your download package) before you set to work on your anxiety.
Hypnosis is progressive, and the more often you do it, the faster, smoother, and deeper it becomes. By conditioning yourself with the training recordings, you’ll find the therapeutic effects of the main recordings will be many times more successful.
